PROLIX. Drum & Bass debut Murder Mile LP out now.

Known for notable releases on the likes of Shogun, RAM, VISION, Viper, Metalheadz, OWSLA and more, Prolix returns to Black Sun Empire’s reputable Blackout label for his highly anticipated album that’s been teased over recent years. Following on from LP singles The Message, Slob, Drop Bombs, Feel Alive & Beat Down earlier this year, Prolix’s Murder Mile LP has arrived.

Featuring collaborations with Black Sum Empire themselves, Malux, Qemists, Coppa, DC Beaks, Renny Carroll, Virus Syndicate, She Koro and Dee Freer, Prolix’s newest body of work is a 15 track compiled monster made with captivating effect. Named after where he lives in North London, Murder Mile reflects on the inspiration drawn from Prolix’s area and surroundings boasting bold productions and lethal soundscapes. Whilst primarily a stand out drum and bass project, the LP also draws on rock elements with climatic riffs in Set Me Free with Renny Carroll and the Qemists in Feel Alive. Meanwhile, Savages alongside Black Sun Empire and MC, Virus Syndicate gives a nod to jump up drum and bass components whilst urban infused lyrics making for an extremely versatile LP satisfying listeners’ bubbling craving for drum and bass perfection. With single release The Message reaching no.1 on the Beatport Drum and Bass chart whilst receiving support from the likes of Andy C and Rene Le Vice,

With a career spanning over ten years, Prolix fans have been patiently waiting for this time to come following a slew of successes including a remix of Chase & Status’ Barbarians on Renegade Hardware, catching the attention of DJ Hype, collaborating with Noisia on Asteroids and not to mention his own revered label Trendkill bringing together an eclectic mix of fresh, new talent and established heavyweights.
