TIMBER FEST 2024. Festival drops 2-for-1 tickets less than a week before they bring their unique blend of music, art and nature to the heart of Feanedock.

Excitement is building, as Timber Festival returns to the National Forest for a weekend of innovative music, inspiring talks and wellbeing. This weekend sees a host of the world’s best artists, thinkers and entertainers come together, set amidst the serene beauty of The National Forest, Derbyshire, and fans still considering attending should be aware of Timber’s last minute 2 for 1 ticket offer.

Scheduled from 5th – 7th July, this year’s festival promises an extraordinary experience, with an eclectic mix of musical headliners, immersive art installations, engaging workshops, spectacular theatre performances and family-friendly activities.

Timber proudly presents an exciting lineup of musical headliners. Tirzah guarantees to captivate the Timber audience with her soulful melodies, while Dave Haslam will bring Haçienda vibes to the festival fields. Kiiōtō, comprised of Mercury-nominated Lamb founder Lou Rhodes and Rohan Heath, are set to perform a raft of new music from their burgeoning project, with a whole host of other interesting acts set to grace the stage, including Makushin and Jason Singh.

As well as a first-class music offering, Timber has so much more to offer. Interactive art installations created by guest curators will transform the festival site into a canvas of interactive installations, creating spaces where festivalgoers can gather, dream, and envision a hopeful future together.

Timber Festival also offers a diverse array of workshops, designed to connect participants with nature and their inner creativity. Attendees have access to foraging walks, where they will explore the local flora and learn about edible plants, as well as wellbeing sessions, as they unwind with Yoga, Tai Chi, a Gong bath and breathwork sessions under the trees.

There are also creative dance workshops, which will encourage participants to express themselves through movement in a supportive environment. There will also be a live art flower fashion show, where festivalgoers are invited to dress as flowers and plants, bringing a burst of color and creativity to the runway as they compete for first prize.

In addition, there will be a series of talks and panel discussions, including sessions with award-winning writer Kadiatu Kanneh-Mason, surfing legend, academic and activist Easkey Britton, and Right to Roam, who will embolden audiences to claim their land rights.

If theatre is your thing, there is a wide assortment of spectacular theatre performances. There is Bamboo, where people will witness a circus group scaling incredible heights before their eyes. The Journey, by Perhaps Contraption, will be entertaining the Timber crowd around the festival site with their cacophonous brass band performance that will delight all ages. Balance will also impress festivalgoers with their mesmerising Kenish dance performance.

There is also plenty for the family to enjoy, such as the Wonkiest Veg competition, interactive theatre and bat walks, providing lots of fun activities that will captivate the imagination of young and old alike.

Highlighting local produce, the 20 Mile Supper will feature a delectable meal sourced entirely from growers within a 20-mile radius of the festival. The feast will showcase the rich agricultural heritage of the region and the talents of local farmers and chefs.

The festival campsite, set in the lush, tranquil surroundings of Feanedock, offers a perfect retreat for attendees. This serene environment provides an ideal space for relaxation and reflection, enhancing the overall festival experience. Timber Festival 2024 is set to be a remarkable celebration of music, art, nature, workshops and delicious food and drink!
