ADE Lab drops the first big batch of speakers for its fully stacked four-day programme this October. The first highlights include industry heavyweights like Narciss, the duo Indira Paganotto & Joseph Capriati, DJ MELL G, MARRØN, Freddy K, and many more. The entry-level conference from 16 October – 19 October aims to kickstart the career of future superstars and experts, while ADE Pro welcomes arrived professionals.
International artists like DJ MELL G join the conference aimed at young, aspiring music industry talents, sharing their knowledge and networking with them. ‘Staying Grounded as a Touring DJ with DJ MELL G’ is one of the first highlights of ADE Lab, where the German artist will touch upon mental health in the electronic nightlife scene. The sense of community will be one of the themes at ADE Lab, where young artists and industry professionals can learn from their idols. One of them is Freddy K, who will delve into the renaissance vinyl is experiencing and his unwavering passion for this art form. His ADE Lab live conversation will bring people from the vinyl community together, giving them valuable insights into running a successful vinyl-focused label. Amsterdam local and Eerste Communie event series founder MARRØN will also dive into community building during the panel ‘Curating Culture’, where he exclusively shares how his roots have shaped his journey in music. He follows Mama Snake, who joined the panel last year.
Exclusive insights into the process behind the scenes.
Mama Snake returns to ADE Lab this year for an exclusive masterclass with her agent, Charles Green. The label owner of Amniote Editions and founder of Omni-Artists will give visitors an insight behind the scenes, and invite anyone interested in either side of the coin to ask them the burning questions they’ve always had. Next to her panel at the ADE Pro Conference, ‘From Niche to Next Level’, Indira Paganotto joins ADE Lab together with hit producer Joseph Capriati for an intimate conversation led by techno titan Dave Clarke. The pair will speak about their collaborative EP ‘Mantra’ and share their creative process in this one-off session on the Saturday of ADE Lab. Last but not least, big-time artists Narciss and DJ Babatr join ADE Lab for two sessions on their characteristic sounds. Narciss is one of the most sought-after names at the moment, and we will dive into their recent shift in sounds. DJ Babatr invented his own genre, creating shockwaves from Venezuela to the world. Learn from both artists during the four days of ADE Lab.
This first drop of names follows the recent announcement of the new four courses that make up ADE Lab’s programme, each with its own mentors. The Producer Course will be led by Sarz, who will give young producers an insight into the road to success. The Visual Arts Course will see Spekki Webu and Matti Vilho teach visitors how visuals make music and technology emotional, inviting everyone present into their worlds. During this course, mentor LUXE takes future superstars into her world, showing you how to become the best ‘Performing Artist’. Awakenings founder Rocco Veenboer shares the stage with Tim Middelesch, giving young and willing ADE Lab visitors the chance to kickstart their music industry career. The confirmed ADE Lab programme so far can be explored on Amsterdam Dance Event’s website, with more confirmations to come.
