OASIS 2019. Morocco’s festival drops complete lineup.

Oasis Festival unveils the complete line up for the landmark fifth edition, which takes place from 13-15 September in Marrakech. Detroit heroes Theo Parrish, Moodymann and DJ Bone and techno tastemakers Cassy, Dana Ruh and Anastasia Kristensen are bound for the pioneering Moroccan music festival, along with special live shows from Hercules & Love Affair, Baltra and Paranoid London. Acclaimed local talents, including Amine K, Polyswitch and Monile bolster a rich roster of Moroccan talent too, with many more new names announced today.

The fifth edition of Oasis Festival takes place back where the story first began, namely the stunning Fellah Hotel in Marrakech. It is here in this picture perfect location that revellers can soak up the sun, dance beneath the stars, lounge amongst tropical gardens and cool off in crystal clear swimming pools, all soundtracked by a forward-thinking line-up of electronic music’s finest.

The third and final wave of names brings a healthy Detroit contingent, with the intoxicating DJ styles of Theo Parrish, unbridled charisma of house renegade Moodymannand uncompromising techno selections of DJ Bone. Anything could happen with the back-to-back between Ibiza stars Cassy and Eats Everything, while deep and smoky house from Berlin favourite Dana Ruh and left-of-centre rhythms from Pampa’s Robag Wruhme will add plenty of new flavours to the already eclectic line-up.

Next to high profile DJ sets, some of dance music’s best live shows will also land at Oasis Festival, including throwback house and disco act Hercules & Love Affair, raw, lo-fi warehouse specialists Paranoid London and the expertly nuanced electronics of Baltra.

As ever, there is a vital local contingent at this year’s event, including Moroko Loko founder and veteran of every single Oasis Festival, Amine K, local figurehead Polyswitch, old school house man Malik, rising star Monile and newcomers Massimo and Nomads.

Bringing an all out aural assault will be the electrifying Anastasia Kristensen, while slick tech star Archie Hamilton, Scottish party starter Eclair Fifi and dream-state house, raw hip hop and psyched out darkwave innovator Park Hye Jin complete the line-up, along with a special DJ set from Chromeo.

This latest wave of names top off an impressive roster of talent, including Amelie Lens, Apollonia, Dixon B2B Âme, Four Tet, Jayda G, Loco Dice, Mall Grab, Sonja Moonear, and Seth Troxler, as well as strong selection of Moroccan talents like Casa Voyager’s Driss Bennisand eclectic selector Yasmean, all of which ensures that Oasis Festival’s fifth edition is set to be the best yet.

All this plays out against the backdrop of the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, along with a rich arts and culture programme, daily yoga and mouthwatering local cuisine, making this one of the most unforgettable and authentic musical holiday experiences anywhere in the world.
