With the 11th edition of the European Festival Awards set to take place on January 15th in Groningen, The Netherlands, we’re announcing the shortlists for 14 of the ceremony’s categories. Over 350’000 votes have been cast for the 2019 European Festival Awards in the main public categories. XSIDE 2020. xside presents leading international voices in music and technology as speakers and performers for first event.

A keynote from electronic music innovator and technology advocate Richie Hawtin and performance by transgender music icon Honey Dijon among others will take the xside stage. xside will take place 24-26 of February at Fira Montjuïc, in parallel to 4YFN and MWC Barcelona 2020. xside will welcome over 25,000 attendees across three days and up to 5,000 each night and will feature more than 20 hours of stage content and up to 50 speakers, exploring themes that include: Creativity & technology; Entertainment beyond the screen; Design for 2030; Education and work in the third era of computing; Innovating for truth and trust. LMC 2020. London Music Conference announces first round of artists, experts, and brands.

London’s premier music conference and showcase festival returns from January 30th – February 1st, and the first round of DJs, industry experts and brands taking part has been revealed. These include representatives from Broadwick Live, Printworks, DJ Mag, Boiler Room, BBC Radio 1, Free from Sleep, FMLY Agency, DAZED, The Cause, Key Changes, Mixmag, He.She.They, Beatport, Red Bull Radio, Korg, PRS plus dozens more, all leading voices in their respective fields. BLUMBROS. Hip-Hop project from Philadelphia released brand new EP.

Raised in the notorious Blumberg Projects in North Philadelphia, the BlumBros’ upbringing was far from normal. Born into a family of 11 children — five girls and six boys — Raphael and Cartier Perkins were separated along with their siblings as kids and placed into foster care, living isolated from one another for over 10 years.
