Fresh off a high-octane collaboration with upcoming producer Bou, Don’t Need You, drum & bass legend High Contrast enlists promising next-gen producers Pola & Bryson for the first single off a curated remix album celebrating the 20 year anniversary of his debut album True Colours.
After growing up immersed in a groundbreaking era of jungle and drum & bass, Pola & Bryson subsequently became High Contrast superfans and are now making waves with glistening, carefully stripped-down electronic music inspired by their D&B idol himself. Now pioneering their own fresh generation of drum & bass music, the producers’ unique melodic style has led to high profile collaborations including an EP with Brazilian DJ veteran DJ Marky and official remixes for industry giants Wilkinson, Moby, Camo & Krooked. Described as “leading the new wave of liquid drum & bass” by heavyweight DJ Sub Focus, Pola & Bryson have collected widespread acclaim since releasing their debut album This Time Last Year on their own Soulvent Records, receiving nominations in the Drum & Bass Arena Awards for their sophomore album Lost In Thought including ‘Best Producer’ and ‘Best Album + Best Artwork’.

The acclaimed producers will be the first to tease the highly anticipated remix album. The project will feature High Contrast classics, reworks from heavyweight DJs such as Camo & Krooked and Mefjus. What’s more, a special edition of the LP will prelude the album’s release in April 2022 on Record Store Day, featuring a time-traveling remodel of the original album art and a 23 year old Lincoln on the cover.
Pola & Bryson’s tranquil liquid style is the soothing tonic for stress and worry. Boasting an exclusive signing with Shogun Audio, over 1M streams and radio play from Rene LaVice on BBC Radio 1 and KISS Nights for their single Dream Days in addition to over 3M streams on single Find Your Way, the producers have been discovered on Spotify playlists such as Massive Drum & Bass, Stepping Out, and DJ Marky’s track Id’s.
Requiring little introduction, High Contrast is early 00s drum & bass and jungle royalty. Known for smash shit successes such as Racing Green and The Basement Track, the grammy-nominated producer has remixed for everyone from White Stripes to Kanye West, Coldplay, Calvin Harris and even curated music for the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony. High Contrast’s latest album, Notes From The Underground, was produced using original 90s samplers, perfectly encapsulating his talent for blending past and present with his own timeless spin.
No stranger to heavyweight remixes, Pola & Bryson breathe fresh life into High Contrast’s classic Music Is Everything, kicking off releases anticipating the 20th anniversary True Colours remix album. Energetic and soaring, Music is Everything (Pola & Bryson Remix) is a head-bopping riot that will get you moving.
