HOSPITAL RECORDS. Barrington Levy released Here I Come (Nu:Tone remix).

From dancehall classic to dancefloor banger, Hospital mainstay and esteemed soul-selector Nu:Tone applies his production savviness to Barrington Levy’s seminal reggae anthem, ‘Here I Come‘. This is the first of many incredible drum & bass remixes from Hospital’s exciting collaboration with one of the world’s most iconic reggae labels, the ‘Jet Star Meets Hospital’ compilation.

Having been with Hospital Records now eighteen years, Nu:Tone is one of their most well respected sonic surgeons and with this remix it’s clear why. Steppy percussions and its warm rolling bassline make this turbo-charged rework harness all the energy of the original but bring it headfirst into 2019.

The ‘Jetstar Meets Hospital’ project is the collaborative workings of the legendary reggae label Jet Star and leading drum & bass imprint Hospital Records. Where some of the most famous reggae and dancehall records have been rewired by Hospital’s esteemed roster of producers plus some very special guests, including Danny Byrd, London Elektricity, Urbandawn, Nu:Logic, Saxxon and more.

The album was kickstarted in January 2019 with the release of the award-winning Benny L remix of John Holt’s ‘Police In Helicopter’. Which made both drum & bass and Beatport history by becoming the very first drum & bass track to secure the #1 spot in Beatport’s multi-genre chart.
