The fifth full EP on Icicle’s Entropy Music sees Proxima, long time collaborator and cousin to Icicle, return to the label to deliver a 5 track EP steeped in trademark tech details second to none. The opening track ‘Black Magic’, which features T-Man on vocals, sets the tone with its unforgiving sharp-edged funk and haunting, expertly delivered vocals. From there the EP moves through straight-out-of-the-future dance floor favourites ‘Infected’ & ‘Lurker’ towards the deeper meticulously detailed ‘Near Shimmer’ and ending on the meditative and sparse ‘Creepin Crawl’.
