Music is a meditative experience for many people, expecially musicians who spend hours practicing in a solitary state of absorption. Music also has positive benefits for people indulging in mindfulness meditation, which is used in schools, prisons and sports, with the Dalai Llama being one of its enthusiastic proponets. ‘Music For Mindfulness’ is about the use of music to calm the mind, body and soul to create feelings of wellbeing and serenity, while you stop, think and feel in the moment. Kenneth Bager, the colourful Music For Dreams head honcho, is returning to Ibiza in 2017 with dates at Pikes, Hostal La Torre, and a residency at The Jockey Club at Las Salinas beach as well as compiling this year’s album, ‘The Jockey Club Vol. 5’.
