Philadelphia brothers and rap artists, Raphael and Cartier Perkins of BlumBros and DJ and producer MAKJ have cooked up another slice of fun with heavy new hip hop tune Ur Wifey dropping on September 6 th . The new track which has a music video accompanying it, marks the third release from BlumBros’ forthcoming debut EP Thank Da Jects which contains nothing other than intoxicating bass, fresh flow and dynamic rhymes.
A catchy tune featuring BlumBros slick freestyles to a funky instrumental, Ur Wifey is influenced by their versatile sound that radiates positivity and good vibes and guarantees to make listeners bust a couple of moves. As translated through the music video, Ur Wifey is set at a house party filled with plenty of laughs, dancing and the brothers turning up with red cups in hand. Following a hard-knock upbringing in the Blumberg projects of North Philadelphia, resulting in their family of 11 children being split apart and put in to foster care, Raphy and Carty reunited over a decade later as teenagers. After bonding over their love for music, the brothers’ creative flow soon landed them a record deal with Payday Records.
