NTIA 2023. Event announce Second Night Time Economy Summit in conjunction with VibeLab featuring special guest Harvey Goldsmith CBE.

Following the successful launch of the First Night Time Economy Summit in Bristol, the NTIA have announced the second in the series of conferences focused on night time economy across the UK, with an extremely ambitious programme of speakers, panels and workshops.

Taking place at E1 Venue in London from the 9th & 10th February 2023 the NTIA summit is pleased to announce Harvey Goldsmith CBE as a Keynote speaker at the event this year.

Harvey is as legendary as he is prolific as a rock and pop promoter. He is a visionary producer and has worked with most of the world’s major artists, being responsible for not only two of the world’s largest ever music events, Live Aid and Live 8, but also an astounding range of television broadcasts and charity events.

Harvey has received numerous awards including a CBE in 1996, the Chevalier des Artes et Lettres from the French Minister of Culture in 2006, an Honorary Doctorate of Arts from the University of Brighton in the UK in July 2012. Harvey received The Diamond Award during The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The Summit will also bring together some of the leading lights in night time economy from around the world, including Mirik Milan (Vibe Lab/ Former Night Czar Amsterdam), Sacha Lord (Greater Manchester Night Time Economy Advisor), Amy Lame (London night Czar), Carly Heath (Bristol Night Time Economy Advisor) Lawrence Barton (NTE Advisor Birmingham City), Jon Collins (LIVE), Peter Heath (#WeMakeEvents), Jamie Njoku- Goodwin (UKMusic), Philip Kolvin KC (Barrister) and Lutz Leichsenring (Vibe Lab). International counterparts across the world have become a huge part of the global night time economy network and the sharing of best practices and experiences within different countries has helped galvanize the community worldwide.

We have two reports which will be released at the summit: The UK Night Time Economy Report will benchmark the economic position of the NTE sector, updating current workforce numbers and evaluating the impact of the current crisis to the sector business types in conjunction with CGA.

The UK Electronic Music Report is the first of its kind, and will demonstrate the economic, community and cultural value of the sector within the UK which will form part of a submission to DCMS and a broader piece of annual reporting which will allow us to evaluate the current market movements in terms of counter culture.

Says NTIA CEO Michael Kill”Through the multiple crises that we have faced as a sector, we have grown as a community, and in 2021 we started a journey to bring the best of our industry together once a year to share our challenges and network amongst our peers. An opportunity for operators, regulators, creators, entrepreneurs to come together and share, learn and build a stronger, more resilient industry for the future.

The two day event will include over 100 speakers with panels and workshops featuring innovators and entrepreneurs from across the sector.
