Introducing SIMS aka Selina International Music Summit, a bold and innovative concept presented by Selina. Bringing a fresh perspective to the traditional conference format, SIMS focuses on presenting real-life, practical advice from global leaders, whilst focussing on different territories’ vibrant music communities. This spring, SIMS heads to Colombia’s creative heart MEDELLIN (16th – 18th May) and Mexico’s colourful capital MEXICO CITY (23rd – 25th May) for it’s biggest outings yet, spotlighting breakthrough movements in each spot, with worldwide heavyweights on board to spread wisdom and provide the soundtrack. Launched in Medellin in 2018, SIMS (Selina International Music Summit) strives to offer something different, delivering high-quality summit style events in emerging musical territories with exciting stories to tell. Across the summit and live programme, SIMS unites world-class talent and industry professionals with local acts and figureheads who are integral to developing their own local musical communities. As part of these events, SIMS invites artists operating in each city to apply to play, the winner will perform in front of industry professionals and peers at the events.
