SOULVENT RECORDS. Battle-hardened English barrer Visionobi has been blessing dance floors with his signature sound.

Battle-hardened English barrer Visionobi, real name Richard Thwaites, has been blessing dance floors with his signature sound and relentless energy for the last 15 years. Chances are if you’ve tripped the light fantastic in the UK, you’ll recognise his introspective lyricism and delicate delivery from many a memorable set. The wordsmith has been a firm favourite of the Soulvent family for the last few years, most notably appearing on ‘Butterfly Effect’ with liquid legends Hugh Hardie and GLXY, which has racked up over one million streams to date.

On Paradise Visionobi links up with Bedford based vocalist Riya, and the aforementioned duo that is Jon ‘Trigger-Finger’ Campbell and Tom Alston, showcasing some of Richard’s finest lyrics to date. The idyllic intro provides a luminescent platform for Riya’s soothing tones before the comfortingly familiar, shuffling signature GLXY drums and thought-provoking verses from Visionobi emerge like an oasis. The result is a perfectly poised roller, punctuated by two of the finest vocalists around.

If you’re looking for a metaphorical escape from life’s woes, come and be fanned with this aural palm leaf, landing in all good stores on Friday the 8th of April.

Released April 8, 2022 on Soulvent Records.
