ELECTRIC ISLAND 2019. Announces two day season, Finale featuring Boris Brejcha, Claude Vonstroke, Chris Liebing, Adriatique, Joris Voorn, Anja Schneider and more.

Toronto’s favourite summer concert and picnic series Electric Island, presents their two-day season finale festival lineup, on Saturday August 31st, and Sunday September 1st, with some of the best international names in house and techno. As we kiss summer goodbye, and prepare for the fall, Electric Island invites you to join us for one last dance with back-to-back days at our favourite location on Hanlan’s Point, Toronto Islands. The seventh season brought us some of our most favourite summer memories, so rally up your friends and absorb the full lineup for the two-day finale weekend.

Day one – of the season finale journey on Saturday, August 31st, will have all techno militia out on the dance floor as we present on the Main Stage: purveyor of the high-tech minimal sound Boris Brejcha, a true superstar in the German techno scene Chris Liebing, the underground’s most favourite Switzerland-duo Adriatique, Berlin’s creative force and talented woman of many hats Anja Schneider, along with support from Toronto duo Nature of Music, and Brazilian export Hauy.

‘Electric Island is magic, and we hope you join us for one last dance.’

Nestled around the corner from the Main Stage madness is the beloved Moog Audio Stage. With a more intimate vibe to be experienced, you will hear the sounds of Marie Davidson with a live performance, an eclectic set from international Canadian artist Azari, along with support from Toronto artists Raf Reza, Stacey Sexton, Roberto S, and Selfserve.

Day two – Main Stage of the season finale weekend, Electric Island welcomes back Dirty Bird’s head honcho Claude Vonstroke, the ever progressing talent of Dutch master Joris Voorn, from the cosmos Pleasurekraft makes his Electric Island debut along with multidisciplinary artist Francesca Lombardo, with support from Toronto favourites Arman & Beynon and Wess. The Moog Audio Stage presents one of Canada’s techno ambassadors Greg Gow, Toronto veteran and product of the 90’s rave movement ADDY, with support from Jeremy Stott, Casualties of Sound, Koki and Rudee Nik.

Electric Island is a special experience offering a full day of tasty food trucks, an eccentric hippy market which supports locals vendors, two-stages, and of course that memorable boat ride over and the breathtaking Toronto skyline. There’s something unique about the festival, as it boasts a undeniable day vibe, that can’t be found anywhere else. Electric Island is magic, and we hope you join us for one last dance.
