The 9th edition of Dream Nation festival is approaching really fast! The unmissable annual meeting of electronic cultures will be held at the Parc des Expositions Paris–Le Bourget, France on 16 and 17 September: an open-air weekend that promises to be festive, transcendent and simply stellar!
Since 2013, Dream Nation has been bringing together more and more festival-goers each year, eager to discover new and exciting music. As a true representation of the current electronic music landscape’s quintessence, the festival has established itself over the years as a reference. With its always ambitious and audacious line-up, Dream Nation proudly embodies the great diversity of the electronic spectrum and becomes the theatre of two nights of live performances and DJ sets by the greatest legends and rising stars from all over the world.
Beyond being an invitation to celebrate electronic cultures, Dream Nation festival opens the doors of a space-time rift plunging dreamers into a supernatural and offbeat scenographic universe. Like a real passage to the 4th dimension, the stages will be sublimated with video projections, lightshows, mapping, lasers and especially holographic projections – a first at Dream Nation! An immersive experience proposed by The Hybrid Project to amaze the public’s senses. In addition to these Dantesque decors and animations, there will be performances by various phantasmagorical characters who will wander around the stages and throughout the festival site: celestial nymphs, warriors from another world, or even creatures straight out of the abyssal depths.
It is in this universe created to amaze festival-goers that no less than 60 artists playing Techno, Trance, Bass Music or Hard Music will make their beats and synthesizers resonate throughout the night.
On Friday 16 September, the king of electro-punk, Vitalic, will cast a spell on festival-goers with his specially designed liveshow “Dissidaent Nation”! He will be accompanied by I Hate Models, Kobosil, Rebeka, Louisahhh and Maud Geffray: thrills guaranteed for lovers of bewitching techno! On the Hard Music side, it’s the living legend Angerfist who will take the reigns with the incendiary duos of Hardstyle Rebelion, and Sub Zero Project who will perform for the first time in Paris. The Hard Music stage will be full of surprises with the world premiere B2B between Italians Art of Fighters and Andy The Core, and the warriors Deadly Guns and Dither, which promises to be nothing short of epic!
Saturday 17 September will be filled with the galloping trance rhythms of the mystical wizard Astrix, Mandragora, Blastoyz and the prince of dub-trance Rakoon. On the Bass Music arena, the legendary band Pendulum will make all Drum & Bass lovers shiver! On the Dubstep side, the great Kill The Noise and the mythical group Modestep will be there, as well as Herobust and Midnight Tyrannosaurus, who will make one of their rare appearances in Paris. Finally, Annix & Simula will be presenting their explosive new live show exclusively in France: Neksus Sound Showcase. As for the Techno to Hard Stage, it is the turbulent Casual Gabberz collective that curates an evolving, over-the-top line up, from the hard techno giants Clouds and Rebeka Warrior to the best of Dutch hardcore N-Vitral and Ophidian.
Unique in its own way, Dream Nation is renewing the experience on 16 and 17 September with its unconditional vision of federating and including all styles of electronic music. As the festival approaches, Dream Nation has only one thing to look forward to: making its audiences dance and dream all night long, marvelling at the bubbling energy that drives the “dreamers”, but also and above all sharing the universal values of electronic music: love and the party spirit.
