Spring Awakening – We are thrilled to be back home and at the great Addams / Medill Park on Saturday, October 2, and Sunday, October 3, 2021, for the first Autumn Equinox edition of the festival. Dance music icon Wilkinson returns with new single Keep Dancing, out 7th May on his own Sleepless Music label. Already drawing support from all of the biggest names in the scene, ‘Keep Dancing’ is an irresistible slice of D&B euphoria, combining the soaring vocals of Amber Van Day with the infectious “keep dancing” vocal sample and the most invigorating of breakdowns. It marks the fourth release on Sleepless Music, an imprint that has been set up to ensure that the music always comes first for performing artists and DJs, following on from the anthemic ‘Frontline’. It is a personal and intimate club set to bring something utterly fresh and exciting to the capital with a next-level Funktion One system, specially designed sound treatment, and two atmospheric spaces – the outdoor terrace and a cosy inside dancefloor for 300 people. The Irish DJ joined the UK station in 2004 and soon became one of its top personalities. Google Arts & Culture, Google’s not-for-profit platform, has launched a virtual exhibit showcase it’s all about the history of electronic music, music makers and producers over the past century. The exhibit is called Music, Makers & Machines, looking at some of the original synth makers, from the first synth in 1895, to pioneers across the world and notable artists today.
