The sound of the new generation is out in full force as one of the biggest collaborations is about to make its mark on the drum & bass scene! Unglued, Whiney and Lens have teamed up alongside Doktor on ‘If You Like That’ to cook up a bass-drenched scorcher, which is a seamless melting pot of all four of their individual styles. Lock in to sounds of melodic horns, rolling basslines and the infectious hooks of legendary dancehall artist Doktor as he supplies his signature feel-good energy.
It’s been success upon success for each artist in their own respect, with Unglued recently dropping his killer spin on Gardna’s hit ‘R.A.V.E.A.S.A.P’ which has been blessing the airwaves all over BBC Radio 1. He’s also been keeping busy with a release alongside Waeys on Critical, with GLXY and Javeon on Shogun, and with the one and only Degs on ‘Nothing To Lose’ which also came out earlier this year on Hospital Records.
Whiney continues to bounce from strength to strength with his latest single ‘Flight Mode’ alongside Coco, Slay and Doktor himself, as well as powering on with P Money to create endless bangers including ‘Dead In The Eye (feat. Example)’ and ‘Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ which was recently included in EA’s FIFA 23 soundtrack.
Lens’ debut ‘Marufo’ EP dropped earlier this year on Spearhead Recordings and took the whole scene by storm, from being picked as Beatport’s ‘Artist of the Month’ to going B2B with High Contrast on BBC Radio 1, Lens truly is unstoppable right now.
Continuing to lead the way as one of the most iconic voices in the UK music scene, Doktor has been supplying a consistent stream of heat since making a name for himself with anthems such as ‘Rudeboy’ with Sigma back in 2013. His debut album ‘Dedication’ came out last year and the only way has been up ever since.
Released in November 2022 on Hospital Records.
