The Blacklab brothers Kariem and Kashim from Las Vegas, are back on Soulvent following up their 2018 single ‘Human Condition’. Clearly comfortable this side of the pond, this time they are doubling down with a lustrous 4 track EP entitled ‘Violet’ – which clearly reflects their varied and expansive sound. From the whimsical, laid back vibe of ‘Early Birds’ to the gritty underground feel of ‘Unreal’, there is certainly a little something for everyone with this debut EP from the Nevada natives. BPitch Control welcomes Italian acid duo Boston 168 back to the fold as the label’s 2020 campaign continues. The pair produced the ‘909 Therapy’ EP back in 2018, so it’s a pleasure to have them return with ‘Vax Of Love’, a three-track continuation of their experiments with industrial sounds and the timeless appeal of the beloved Roland TR-303 and its squelchy secretions. EXIT 2020. Amelie Lens, Black Coffee, Nina Kraviz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Robin Schulz and many more confirmed for festival this summer.
After the Serbian Prime Minister asked the EXIT festival not to cancel but move to August, the organizers are working round the clock to create a special and meaningful event for the 20th birthday edition. With the dates set for EXIT to take place from 13 to 16 August, the first wave of more than 30 performers are announced including Amelie Lens, Black Coffee, Nina Kraviz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Boris Brejcha, Tale Of Us, Robin Schulz, Ofenbach and Laibach. Roni Size who headlined the festival 20 years ago, will also perform an exclusive B2B set with LTJ Bukem feat. EXIT resident MC Dynamite, to name a few.
